BRENT GREEN PARTY AND
HARROW GREEN PARTY

[formerly Brent and Harrow - new websites to be launched soon!]

The Green Party is the only political party committed to ecological sustainability and social justice. It stands in local and general elections, offering voters a chance to put Green policies on the political agenda. We campaign on these issues, working with others who share our aims. Brent Green Party and Harrow Green Party are two of 175 semi-autonomous local parties across England and Wales that are the embodiment of the national Green Party. Sunflower

1 MAY LONDON ELECTION RESULTS
A user-friendly results spread is available at the BBC.
Brent and Harrow Green Parties fought a vigorous campaign and we thank the Green voters of Brent and Harrow for coming out in greater numbers than ever before. We polled over 10,000 in the constituency, several thousand more than last time (45% more) - putting us up there with the three main parties and well ahead of another four. We also increased our percentage vote share in the only marginal seat to change hands in London (unlike the Lib Dems). Across London, the Greens gained over 200,000 votes on the List - securing two Assembly members (and the Lib Dems lost two).
